Day 1: DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU (L/D)

We depart from Hanoi and, with the river as our companion, we head north to Long Ho Lake. On the way, you can admire the enthralling scenery, consisting of small islands crowned with tall evergreen trees and endless limestone peaks that provide an ideal combination of peace and wilderness in perfect balance.

Our journey continues up north and goes on giving us breathtaking views until we reach Mai Chau for lunch. You can take some time to wander around the place, get to know the way of life of white Thai people and explore the village a bit more , just before dinnertime.

After enjoying your dinner with a lot of different Vietnamese traditional food , drink some happy water (rice wine),then you have the opportunity to watch a local performance show, the Thai Dance music show with traditional Thai music, or alternatively, go straight to your Thai tilt house and have some good night’s rest!

Day 2: DAY 2: MAI CHAU – TA XUA (B/L/D)

Embark on an exciting one-day car tour from Mai Chau to Ta Xua, where you'll be mesmerized by the captivating scenery of northern Vietnam. From Mai Chau, be prepared to witness the picturesque countryside, with charming villages nestled amidst terraced rice fields and lush green landscapes. The journey itself is a feast for the eyes, offering numerous scenic viewpoints to stop and take in the beauty of the surroundings.

Upon arriving in Ta Xua, you'll be greeted by the majestic Ta Xua Mountains, known for their stunning sunrise views and ethereal "Sea of Clouds." A short trek to the "Sea of Clouds" viewpoint rewards you with breathtaking vistas as clouds cascade over the valleys below. The experience is simply unforgettable and perfect for capturing stunning photographs.

During your trip, you’ll also have a chance to enjoy the local cuisine at one of the roadside eateries, savoring the flavors of authentic Vietnamese dishes. Day 3: DAY 3: TA XUA - TRAM TAU (B/L/D)

As you approach Tram Tau, the landscape transforms, revealing a charming town nestled amidst the mountains. One of the highlights awaits you - indulge in the region's natural hot springs for a rejuvenating experience. Soak in the soothing waters, surrounded by the picturesque beauty of Tram Tau.

Day 4: DAY 4: TRAM TAU - MU CANG CHAI (B/L/D)

As the sun rises over Tram Tau, bid farewell to the cozy homestay and continue your journey to the mesmerizing landscapes of Mu Cang Chai. Prepare to be enchanted by the scenic drive that lies ahead.

The road to Mu Cang Chai offers an awe-inspiring display of nature's beauty, with terraced rice fields cascading down the hillsides. Marvel at the intricate work of local farmers, who have shaped this stunning landscape over generations.

Upon arriving in Mu Cang Chai, take some time to explore the picturesque villages and interact with the friendly locals, whose livelihoods are intimately connected to the land they cultivate.

Day 5: DAY 5: MU CANG CHAI - SAPA (B/L/D)

Awaken to the charm of Mu Cang Chai as you kickstart a day brimming with exploration and wonder. Following a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to the cozy embrace of your homestay, setting the stage for the next chapter of your Vietnam adventure. The road to Sapa promises a scenic journey through the breathtaking landscapes of terraced rice fields and quaint villages. Immerse yourself in the local culture, making stops along the way to interact with communities and discover the intricacies of their traditions. The transition from Mu Cang Chai to Sapa unfolds seamlessly, with each passing mile revealing a new facet of Vietnam's natural beauty. Day 6: DAY 6: SAPA TREKKING (B/L/D)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day trek to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van villages. Y Linh Ho is home to the Black H'mong community. Nestled by the Muong Hoa River, it's surrounded by majestic mountains and terraced rice fields.

Continue your trek to Lao Chai, another Black H'mong village. Here, you can see local farmers tending to their crops, and immerse yourself in their tranquil rural life. Lastly, trek to Ta Van, home to the Zay people. This scenic village is a charming backdrop for learning about their unique culture and traditions.

Day 7: DAY 7: SAPA - HA GIANG (B/L/D)

Commence your day with a 6:30 AM breakfast at the hotel, signaling the start of your journey from Ha Giang. After checking out, set out on the road to Ha Giang City. Along the way, relish a delectable lunch at a restaurant, enjoying the picturesque drive. Upon reaching Ha Giang City, take some free time to capture memorable moments at Km0 of Ha Giang, a distinctive and enticing destination.

Continuing the adventure, proceed to conquer the Dong Van Karst Plateau by car. Pause at the Quan Ba Heaven's Gate to marvel at the Fairy Mountain, also known as Twin Mountain, and capture panoramic views of Tam Son town from a high altitude. As the day unfolds, arrive in Yen Minh, check in at the hotel, and enjoy some leisure time.

Wrap up the day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. In the evening, explore and discover Yen Minh at your own pace, creating your own memorable experiences. Conclude the day with a comfortable overnight stay in Yen Minh, ready for the adventures that await on the next leg of your Vietnam exploration.

Day 8: DAY 8: HA GIANG - DONG VAN - LUNG CU - MA PI LENG (B/L/D)

Following breakfast, your journey unfolds with a visit to the renowned Ma Pi Leng Pass on the route to Meo Vac, celebrated as one of the most beautiful stretches on the "Happiness Road." Marvel at the majestic beauty of Ma Pi Leng Canyon, Vietnam's deepest geological fault, and capture the scenery with a photo stop. The adventure continues with a cruise on the Nho Que River, where you'll board a boat and travel upstream to Tu San Alley, the country's deepest canyon. Keep in mind that to access the boat pier and cover the boat fee, you'll need to arrange for a motorbike taxi. This day promises a unique blend of breathtaking landscapes and an immersive encounter with the natural wonders of northern Vietnam.

Day 9: DAY 9 : DONG VAN - BAO LAC (B/L/D)

As you journey toward Bao Lac, immerse yourself in the local culture, making stops along the way to interact with communities and savor the authentic flavors of the region. Enjoy the changing scenery as you move from Dong Van to Bao Lac, each kilometer unfolding a new facet of Vietnam's natural beauty. Arriving in Bao Lac, take the opportunity to explore the town at your own pace, discovering the local attractions and soaking in the atmosphere. Day 10: DAY 10: BAO LAC - BAN GIOC WATERFALL (B/L/D)

Embark on a new day of adventure as you journey from Bao Lac to the spectacular Ban Gioc Waterfall. After a refreshing breakfast, the road unfolds through scenic landscapes, offering glimpses of the rural beauty of northern Vietnam. Traverse picturesque roads, allowing the surrounding mountains and valleys to captivate your senses.

Arriving at Ban Gioc Waterfall, marvel at the breathtaking cascade, one of the most stunning natural wonders in Vietnam. Take your time to explore the surroundings and capture the beauty of the waterfall with its lush greenery and crystal-clear waters. As the day unfolds, settle into a nearby resort for a comfortable overnight stay, providing you with the perfect retreat after a day of exploration.

Day 11: Day 11: CAO BANG - NGUOM NGAO - BA BE LAKE (B/L/D)

After breakfast in Cao Bang, we'll set off for Nguom Ngao Cave, a magnificent limestone cave adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Explore the intricate chambers of the cave as your guide shares fascinating insights into its geological formations and local legends.

Following our visit to Nguom Ngao Cave, we'll continue our journey to Ba Be Lake, a picturesque natural gem nestled amidst lush greenery. Upon arrival, we'll check into a homestay belonging to the Tay ethnic group, where warm hospitality and authentic cultural experiences await.

Savor a delicious dinner prepared by our hosts, featuring traditional Tay cuisine. As night falls, unwind in the serene ambiance of the homestay, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Ba Be Lake. Overnight accommodation will be at the homestay, offering a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich traditions and way of life of the Tay people.

Day 12: Day 12: BA BE - HANOI (B/L)

On our final day, we'll start with a memorable boat trip in the morning to explore the stunning landscape of Ba Be Lake. Drift along the tranquil waters, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery, as you soak in the natural beauty of this pristine environment. Marvel at the reflections dancing on the surface of the lake and listen to the sounds of nature echoing in the air.

After our boat trip, we'll bid farewell to Ba Be Lake and begin our journey back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences and beautiful memories made during our time in this tranquil oasis as we travel through the picturesque countryside.
