This 6-day journey explores the breathtaking landscapes and cultural richness of northeastern Vietnam. Starting from Hanoi, the tour leads to Ba Be National Park, where travelers discover one of Vietnam’s largest natural lakes surrounded by limestone mountains, dense forests, and ethnic minority villages. Following breakfast, at 7:30 AM, your guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi to embark on a 250-kilometer journey to Ba Be National Park. Along the way, we'll pause for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our route towards Ba Be National Park.
Nestled within the park is one of Vietnam's largest natural lakes, surrounded by scenic valleys, towering rocky mountains, and lush forests. The area is also home to a diverse array of bird species and several ethnic minority communities, including the Tay, Red Dao, and Hmong.
Upon arrival, we'll explore Hua Ma cave, a vast grotto adorned with thousands of stalactites. You'll then have free time to stroll around the village, soaking in the fresh air and peaceful ambiance. Later, we'll settle into a traditional Tay ethnic house to experience their way of life firsthand.

As the day draws to a close, return to the same local family for another night of hospitality and cultural immersion.
After breakfast, we'll depart for Trung Khanh, situated on the border with China. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to meet the Nung people in the village of Phuoc Sen. This mountainous village is renowned for its traditional blacksmith craft, and you'll learn about its history and the products made here.
Upon arrival at Ban Gioc Waterfall, the fourth largest waterfall in the world, you'll have time to relax and capture some stunning photos. You'll also have the chance to experience the thrill of rafting near the waterfall, feeling the refreshing water spray against your face.
Upon arrival in Bac Son, check in to your accommodation and unwind after a day of exploration. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before settling in for a restful night in Bac Son.
