Day 1: Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (L/D)

Following breakfast, at 7:30 AM, your guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi to embark on a 250-kilometer journey to Ba Be National Park. Along the way, we'll pause for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our route towards Ba Be National Park.

Nestled within the park is one of Vietnam's largest natural lakes, surrounded by scenic valleys, towering rocky mountains, and lush forests. The area is also home to a diverse array of bird species and several ethnic minority communities, including the Tay, Red Dao, and Hmong.

Upon arrival, we'll explore Hua Ma cave, a vast grotto adorned with thousands of stalactites. You'll then have free time to stroll around the village, soaking in the fresh air and peaceful ambiance. Later, we'll settle into a traditional Tay ethnic house to experience their way of life firsthand.

Day 2: Day 2: Ba Be Lake Exploration (B/L/D)

After breakfast, join your guide for a trek through the mountainous terrain, immersing yourself in the breathtaking landscape of Ba Be National Park. Along the way, you'll pass through several villages inhabited by the Tay, Dao, and Hmong ethnic groups, offering a unique opportunity to learn about their rich culture and customs.

Pause for a refreshing lunch break amidst the tranquil surroundings.

In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat trip along the Nang River to explore the beauty of Ba Be Lake. Cruise past Puong Cave, admire the majestic Puong Grotto, marvel at the rapids of the Dau Dang waterfall, and discover the enchanting Window Island. These picturesque landscapes provide the perfect setting for relaxation, allowing you to unwind in the midst of fresh air and lush greenery.

As the day draws to a close, return to the same local family for another night of hospitality and cultural immersion.

Day 3: Day 3: Ba Be Lake - Ban Gioc Waterfall (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we'll depart for Trung Khanh, situated on the border with China. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to meet the Nung people in the village of Phuoc Sen. This mountainous village is renowned for its traditional blacksmith craft, and you'll learn about its history and the products made here.

Following lunch, we'll continue our journey towards the Ban Gioc area. Along the way, you'll be captivated by the peaceful and picturesque landscape, featuring terraced rice paddies interspersed with traditional houses. Prepare to be mesmerized by the scenery, which will keep you wide awake during the long drive, with ample opportunities for photo stops.

Upon arrival at Ban Gioc Waterfall, the fourth largest waterfall in the world, you'll have time to relax and capture some stunning photos. You'll also have the chance to experience the thrill of rafting near the waterfall, feeling the refreshing water spray against your face.

Day 4: Day 4: Ban Gioc - Nguom Ngao Cave - Bac Son (B/L/D)

After a hearty breakfast, we'll begin our journey to explore the natural wonders of the area. Our first stop will be Nguom Ngao Cave, renowned for its stunning limestone formations and impressive stalactites and stalagmites. As we explore the cave, your guide will share fascinating insights into its geological significance and local legends.

Following our visit to Nguom Ngao Cave, we'll continue our drive to Bac Son. Along the way, you'll be treated to picturesque views of the Vietnamese countryside, with its lush green fields and towering mountains. We'll make stops along the route to stretch our legs and take in the breathtaking scenery.

Upon arrival in Bac Son, check in to your accommodation and unwind after a day of exploration. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before settling in for a restful night in Bac Son.

Day 5: Day 5: Bac Son - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

After breakfast, around 7:15 AM, we'll be picked up to begin our journey to Halong Bay. Upon arrival, we'll transfer to a cruise, where we'll embark on an unforgettable adventure through this iconic destination.

Halong Bay is renowned for its awe-inspiring landscapes, characterized by emerald waters, thousands of limestone karsts and islets, and lush greenery. It's a place where the beauty of nature knows no bounds.

Our day will be dedicated to immersing ourselves in the serene beauty of Halong Bay. From cruising on its tranquil waters to exploring its enchanting caves and grottoes, every moment promises to be filled with wonder. Take the time to relax, appreciate the stunning surroundings, and savor the tranquility of this remarkable location.

Day 6: Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)

After a delightful lunch overlooking the serene waters of Halong Bay, it's time to bid farewell to this natural wonder. We'll embark on the journey back to Hanoi.

As we traverse the picturesque landscapes on our way to Hanoi, take this final opportunity to absorb the enchanting sights and sounds of Vietnam's northern region.
